Will Christian Love NASA?

Today launched of a rocket, Deep Impact, designed to crash into a meteor. NASA hope to find out what sparked the start of life on earth.

Given the strength of the christian fundamentalist in the US, their passion for the teaching of creationism and their influence in the current US government - I wonder how long it will take them to stop NASA pursuing this heresy?
