"You won't win silver medals at the Olympic Games unless you're the very, very best." - Brendan Foster, BBC1 (source:Colemanballs, Private Eye)

Vote links

Good to see Kevin Marks is still pursuing and expanding his idea for the creation of a link that would be able to state a like or dislike preference of what they were linking to. Effectively voting on it.

eg

like - <a rel=”vote-for” href=”http://www.georgebush.com/” title=”George Bush is great”>George Bush is great</a>

dislike - <a rel=”vote-against” href=”http://www.georgebush.com/” title=”George Bush is bad”>George Bush is bad</a>

Without this small, but subtle difference, anyone who links to information on the Internet is perceived by a search engine as endorsing that information, thus providing a higher return for it in search results.

It’s still pink! :-) - but more to the point, those voting tags appear not to render in Firefox. Don’t know if you knew that?
