UK Terrorist Link To Iraq and Afghanistan Invasion

If you think you can go into our lands and do what you are doing in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and think it will not come back onto your doorstep, may you have another thing coming.
Above is a reported quote from Umar Islam, accused and on trial currently for plotting to blow up planes flying to America from the UK.
I’ve got a very clear recollection of the Labour Government insisting that such a thing was ridiculous - of course the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan had no connection what so ever with the growth of UK-based terrorism, we were told.
Now these eight are on trial, this is conveniently forgotten — and, but of course, not brought up by the Mainstream media.
Intent? - Possibly. Ability? - Unlikely
On a separate note - even if these people currently on trial had a wish to carry out these plans, did they have the ability.
