UK ‘Freedom’ Hypocrisy
5th March 2007 by Simon
Just listening to Today on Radio 4 with a report from China where they say that, despite changes, there is still not what the West would call full democracy there.
The on-location reporter covered “that there is still no demonstrations allowed in Tiananmen Square. Anyone protesting is arrested and put in jail.”
It struck me how similar Blair has made the UK like what they say are ‘bad’ things about China.
Despite Blair touring the world tell everyone how important democracy is, the UK’s Parliament Square has become the same as Tiananmen Square, where Blair’s government passed a law where the public cannot demonstrate within a half mile of Parliament Square, the supposed seat of Democracy of the UK.
