I thought I’d start an occasional series - Things I’d make illegal.

Door bell noises in audio broadcasts _must_ be banned. Immediately. Allowed in Video sound tracks, only if it’s clear that a door bell is being pressed.
_Reasoning
Picture the scene. Sitting at home, relaxing. Enjoying the evening delights of Isle Of Wight Radio then, the electric, unpleasant feeling of hearing a doorbell over the radio.
_Primary Offender
The primary, if not sole, offender - advertisers. Yes, they think it’s clever to grab your attention but they fail to understand that it just annoys the hell out of you.
