Skeleton of a tortoise

For those frustrated Boing Boingers who want to know what the skeleton of a tortoise looks like, after having their interest raised by piece of a Tortoise anatomical model that was on eBay, and finding the auction finished and the photo’s removed. Here’s a photo (hosted by Buzznet) of half a tortoise that I shot back in April at the Natural History Museum in London.

The world needs to know this about the tortoise. It’s too fantastical not to know.
