Project OS
25th July 2004 by Simon
I’m finding computer directories really bad for filing these days. Even using shortcuts to cluster related work, it’s still inconvenient shuffling up and down directories.
What every happened to the desktop element of computing? It’s very restrictive only having one desktop. There should be one for each project that your working on that you can swap out when the project changes. All of the related pieces of information or pointers to online content could be placed together. It’s not rocket science is it?
The OS should be drivable through a Project perspective. It rises above the level of the OS and the applications, gathering data where needed, such as the contact information for everyone invonved in the project. A Project OS.
