This is one of the most depressing pages I’ve seen on the Internet for a long time.

I’m sure most of you are aware of the insane level of rhetoric that goes on on Fox and FoxNews.
For a reminder of some of the worst bits, take a look at Newshounds channel on YouTube - unless you’re feeling a little under the weather today, because the footage of Bill O’Reilly is a disgrace to journalism and humanity generally.
Latest footage as I write is about the London ‘bombings’.
They’ve got a site too at Newshounds.us

Stumbled on this one today - with a vague recollection that I’d seen/heard it before.
If you’re offended by strong language, don’t play it. The angry customer is pretty direct.

Love this - the look, feel and sentiment. We’ve all had to spend time with people like these - at different times, fulfilling the different roles.

We drove coast to coast, across the the USA - and back, about nine years ago.
One of the places we passed through was Arizona, which we loved - very quirky, unexpectedly so.
The weather conditions there are very dry, which makes is a perfect place to store things without the rotting away. This includes planes and helicopters.
We saw a lot of military examples, but the civil airlines lock theirs away, miles from public roads.
Thanks to Google Maps, you can have a look around the area to try and find them. Here’s a starting point with a few planes on show. Wonder if you can find the more remote ones, hidden away.

Wow, this is just plain crazy, isn’t it?
Well known skater, Bob Burnquist, has built a rather large skate ramp in his back garden. Sadly you can’t watch it on the page here, but it is worth the click.
If you don’t know Bob … here’s a little taster of his skills

We had a party during the day on Saturday, partially to watch the Round the Island race (the largest sailing event in the world) - but also to celebrate the going of Blair.
I know it’s rare for someone to have been in power for that long to continued to be liked, but most people I know have nothing but bad feeling towards him.
My fear - What if Brown is more extreme that the nutcase Blair?

I love the work of the photographer Martin Parr. Appearing casual captures of today’s society, he’s taken too many for them to just be lucky shots and shows like the Barbican one back in 2002 showed that he had more about him than I’d previously imagined.
There’s a Martin Parr WE ♥ U group on Flickr, which has a ton of images taken in homage to the great man. Well worth the visit.
One of my fave contributers is lee_3dhighway who turns out loads of great shots like the one below.
Take the time to have a look at his McMansion series - it’s brill.
