Orange UK customer support dead
20th October 2004 by Simon
Using the sub editors dream of a headline, “Red faces at Orange over blue photos“, Reuters is reporting that a customer service employee sent a photo of his nuts to someone who asked if they could have the photo-phone tested. Oranges response?
“This ex-employee sent some indecent photographs of himself. He was dismissed within a week,” an Orange spokeswoman said on Wednesday.I wonder if this has any connection to the fact that Orange customer services has been unreachable on 150, or in fact 07973 100 150 from a landline.
Calling from an Orange mobile gets precisly nothing in response, but calling from a landline you are met with the message “I’m sorry, ee are unable to continue processing your call”.
What’s all that bollocks all about?
