Modern day insanity #1

Speaking to a friend yesterday, he told me a story of modern day insanity.

He had parked his car in, what turned out to be, a suspended parking bay. Not surprisingly, he received a parking ticket and his car was towed to a car pound. This is life as we have come to accept it, so nothing particularly unusual there.

To add insult to injury, what else should drop through his letterbox, but a fine for having passed into the Congestion Charging zone - while he was towed to the car pound!
