Mitnick auction

Kevin Mitnick is auctioning his laptop that he used while on the run during ‘94-‘95.
It’s worth viewing the auction on eBay. His girlfriend has had to put it up, as Mitnick’s not allowed to touch a cell phone or computer until 23.Jan.03.

It’s still shocking when you’re reminded that he was held without bail for 4 1/2 years. Eight months of the time he spent in jail which were spent in solitary confinement because the authorities said they were fearful that he might launch a nuclear strike using only a payphone. What does that say about their confidence in their security?
