London bombings unlikely Islamic Work
8th July 2005 by Simon
Shocking scenes in London today with the four explosions. Many killed and around 1,000 injured with millions of people being affected, including myself.
The finger of blame was initially pointed at International Terrorism, later Al-Qaeda. No shock there really, we’ve been groomed that they are a threat.
The next ‘news’ presented was a website, announcing its support for the explosions with a self-proclaimed connection to Al-Qaidea - and we all know how easy it is to put anything on the Internet, don’t we?
Look at just two of the explosions, one in Edgware Road station, the other at Aldgate East station.
The two stations are of course placed at either side of London, with the Edgware Road being in the west. Looking at the patterns of explosions, they were well-placed to totally disrupt transportation North of the river (note none in the south).
Tactically this makes total sense, where it doesn’t add up is when look examine the populations that live around and use those stations.
The Edgware Road is the largest concentration of Arabs in London and Aldgate East is an area with a heavy concentration of Muslims.
How would that make sense? Surely killing and alienating potentially supporters isn’t a good long-term strategy.
