LightBulbs Direct
5th June 2005 by Simon
Light bulbs used to be easy in the UK, OK the bayonet fitting we used was a little strange to the rest of the world, but we could find plenty in UK shops, so it didn’t matter.
IKEA arrived and that simple state of affairs changed for most people as the IKEA light fittings used a screw-thread - quite confusing for us British.
Although they’ve been around for a long time, I’ve only just found LightBulbs Direct, who supply … er … light bulbs directly to you.
Good idea if you can’t find a local supplier for your stranger light bulb needs.

You could also try Lamps-on-line. I found a special bulb for an Italian standard lamp there.
