It Ain’t Half Hot Mum

Dave and I were having a good old laugh last week remembering how bad the 1970’s BBC TV “comedy” series It Ain’t Half Hot Mum was. How we howled when we recalled the totally un-PC catch-phrases, one of which we thought was “you is a shower of poofs”. Having looked at it in a bit more detail I can confirm the subtle ditty was “a bunch of poofs you is”. Have a listen for yourself. Can you believe that at its peak there were seventeen million people watching this?
