When I'm bored at night, I read Google in alphabetical order. (source)

I’ve just come across a site with a great — and sadly accurate — twist on the famed Warhol quote. Their version “In the future everyone will be anonymous for 15 minutes,” given the amount of personal information around and the ease of access via the Internet, this could indeed become a dream.

Searching on it, I’ve found a reference to the quote back in October 2007, by Dana Kennedy.

Original is mis-quoted
Wikiquote tells me that the actual Warhol quote was

“In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes,” and was taken from Catalogue of an exhibition of his art in Stockholm, Sweden (1968).

So now you know!
