"He'll be haunted by that, not for the rest of his life, but until the day he dies." Alex Salmon, Politic show (source:Colemanballs, Private Eye)

The Labour MPs have embarrassed themselves by passing the rehashed ID card bill through the Commons.

What swayed them? That the government of the day has to pass/push though another law to make the carrying of ID cards compulsory.

To boot, they also made it compulsory that all new passport registrants are required to go on the ID card register from 2008.

Reminder - This is supposed to be a Labour government. It’s shameful that they were bought that easily. Shocking.

The Lords - please don’t let us down. Kick it out again.
