Double Entry - PlayboyTV UK reality show

PlayboyTV UK are starting their take on a Reality TV show on Monday 26th May. Called Double Entry, it brings two teams of three, one female the other male, together. Within nine weeks they’ll have to write, cast, direct and produce a full-length XXX movie. If this appeals and you’ve got access to Sky, it will cost you and extra £8.99/month to subscribe, otherwise there will be short teaser video clips on the site (obviously contains some nudity). It looks like Playboy has taken the core idea behind the popular porn video sites such as Bang Bus — meet a “random” member of the public, start the camera, have sex, sell it — and stretched it out over nine weeks.
Here’s a couple of small but notable differences:
- I imagine that Bang Bus doesn’t have a big focus on the writing side (I’ve honestly never seen one of their films), but given the narrative flow of normal porn films, I can’t imagine that the output will be any different
- The sets on Double Entry will probably be quite lavish
- I sure the Bang Bus process doesn’t take nine hours, never mind nine weeks
Given Big Brother 4 has just started in the UK (now beyond yawn) and the tabloid press often focuses on contestants getting together, followed by the “did they/didn’t they have sex” speculation, it seems a far more honest approach to just focus on the sex. I would have thought this format will run and run.

After reading your posting, I revisited the Playboy TV site (and updated the link) to watch the video pieces (5, 6, 7, 8) and it looked like it must have been an interesting experience for y’all.
Did you win? Has this encouraged to create similar films? A lesbian friend of a very good friend of mine make lesbian porn films - enjoys the life … and makes fucking (pun intended) good money.
We didn’t win, but it was a very interesting experience! I haven’t pursued it as a career, but I’d be interested in doing some more lesbian porn stuff — I can’t really ethically condone the lack of condoms in the hetero stuff, you see?

I did enjoy the whole experience, although if you watched the entire show, you will have seen it wasn’t without its tribulations!
