Do you own your media?

Both this piece and this raise a number of points I’ve been concerned about for a while. As you may have read in my other site, I’m concerned about the erosion of our freedoms to do what we want with our legitimately-owned content. The paranoia that has been endemic in the US entertainment industry is being taken up by their government and is spreading further.
The strange thing about America, hold that … ONE of the strange things that’s happening to America is them forgetting one of their founding principles - It used to be the land of the Free.
