Digital TV - global review panel, RTS London
28th June 2004 by Simon
I’m chairing a panel reviewing the speed of take-up of Digital TV around the world for the Royal Television Society, London Centre this Thursday (1st July). The speakers are some of the leading experts in their fields, so it should be highly informative.
Of particular interest will be getting the inside view of the UK government-sponsored first trial switch-off of analog in Carmarthenshire, Wales and the discussion around the free satellite services independently offered by the BBC and Sky, and their impacts on each other and the rest of the UK TV market.
There’s a couple of tickets left. Get in touch quickly if you’re going to be in London on the 1 July and fancy it.
