David Beckham denies affair

It was news to me today to hear that David Beckham is denying that he had an affair with his PA. Now don’t misunderstand, I’m no longer a close follower of show biz trivia (having extracted myself from Hello about 10 years ago), but strangely I was slightly shocked when I heard it. Such is the power of Beckham Family Inc.
Becks gave the following statement
“During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. What appeared this morning is just one further example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married, have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing that any third party can do to change these facts.”That is very lovely, but it doesn’t exactly deny the allegations as far as I can see.
