Comcast bids for Disney
11th February 2004 by Simon
20 minutes ago, Comcast made it public that they intend to bid for Disney. CNN has a copy of the letter from the Comcast CEO, Brian L. Roberts, writing to Disney CEO, Michael D. Eisner.
The deal is estimated as being worth around US$66Bn, making Comcast the largest the media company in the world.
I think Michael Eisner will be having a fairly rough day today.
