To the chap with the wee brother.
Please look for a very small program called SPVUnlock.exe
This will need to be run on an a Windows XP computer as it will NOT work on previous OS Versions.
Make sure u have ur phone connected via USB and then turn off ActiveSync on the computers Ctrl+Alt+Del. It is called "wcescomm" and MUST be stopped from running.

It will then proceed to go up from 0% to 100% and will provide u with an unlock code,
U can then input this once u reboot the phone.
U should then be fine to use ANY sim.

Hope this info is of help.

Nixy

PS: FoLLOW THIS SITE http://www.phoneunlocking.co.uk/FrontPages/spvunlock.htm AS IT EXPLAINS EXACTLY AND HAS THE SPVUNLOCK.EXE FILE.

Danny & Mark - When I wrote this, my SPV was running the original version of the software and I believe the phones are now on a later version. I would suggest either going to <a HREF="http://MoDaCo.com" rel="nofollow">MoDaCo</a> as they have a very active support group or calling Orange SPV support, who are pretty good.

I've have tried the above just like you have advised only when I hold the record button down and power on 'Card Found' appears but I only get on option and that is press any key to enter boot loader. I then just go directly to the screen with the three colured bars on. Any ideas?
