Charles Kennedy Admits Alcoholism; Suggests Leadership Election

Lib Dem leader Charles Kennedy has just admitted, live on Radio 4, that he has had a drink problem and has sought professional help for it.

He also says that he hasn’t had a drink for two months now … and doesn’t intent to have another.

BBC Now reported that this is in contrast to a statement he made a month ago - that he’d never had professional help for drinking.

General View: It’s one of the worst kept ’secret’ in Westminster.

He’s also suggested that there’s a leadership election.

Wow.
