In the increasingly desperate world of spam and the lengths they need to go to, to defeat spam filters (I recently had to forcefully delete over 12,000 spams from my gmail account) includes manufacturing email subjects.
They normally don’t make a great deal of sense, but today I had a great one “puberty gizmo.” Could be […]

What a great photoshopped image - Golf course on an aircraft carrier. Not that I like golf, but it looks like a much better use of the hardware.

This is completely amazing. Sadly, we’ve all become familiar with concrete barriers in London in places like Parliament and a around the American embassy. They look pretty strong, but I had no idea that they’d be able to stop something dead like this.

I’ve just pulled myself out from under two weeks of illness. It’s been a horrible time that I wouldn’t wish on my least friendly foe.
For one, the idea of being still for more than a couple of hours is not in my nature, so _having_ to lie in bed for extended periods did not sit […]

I’m reading the Cluetrain manefesto currently, after a very interesting day-long chat with Tony Greenburg.
One of the great quotes I came across (I’m sure there’s going to be many more) …

Just written a piece about MySpace for Digital-Lifestyles. In research I came across this dog on a skateboard video. Given UK dwellers grew up on dog-on-skateboard stories at the end of the news, I had to look.
That dog has some serious talent - he should defo take it up full time, if he hasn’t already.

Of course. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before. The next spam trend arrived in my mailbox today - Bird Flu Protection.
Spammers feed on insecurity so it makes total sense that they’re going to try to flog a protection against Bird Flu. Amazingly it was a UK company.

Police in Oxford arrested a student back in May last year after he said “Excuse me, do you realise your horse is gay?”
He was arrested under section 5 of the Public Order Act for making homophobic remarks.
Luckly sanity came home and the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case, but the police are sticking buy their […]

I’ve seen it all now. Spammers are clearly getting into mash-up culture, as today, the offering that arrived for me today was … Penis Enhancement Patches.
Logical isn’t it. Take the hugely popular, Viagra-type product and combine it with anti-smoke patches. What do you get?
There’s a range of products available from the low-end steel to […]
