Brian Cannon update

A while back I posted about Brian Cannon at Microdot. Yesterday I received this update.

Hi my name’s is Steve Allen, graphic designer on a few Oasis covers. I worked with Brian Cannon at Microdot for a couple of years. Yeah it’s true (unfortunately) Brian has returned to the streets of Wigan to ferry drunken punters about. But listen Brian is an inspirational chap! full of beans and as he always said to me “you can’t keep a good man down!” Brian, Martin, Matthew, Jon and myself had a ball at microdot living the dream - maybe you could mention that on your website? or maybe the microdot national anthem “mi-cro-dot, mi-cro-dot, mi-cro-dot, mi-ccrrooo-dot, mi-cro-dot” keeping the dream alive Steve
Steve now runs his own design firm, Ocular Arts, based in Bath.

It’s quite an accolade to Brian that one of his ex-colleagues makes the effort to write to me about him. Here’s hoping for better times for Brian.
