When all of the fuss about Bill Gates’ house was around a few years back - I took a brief look at the photos and wondered what all of the fuss was about. I didn’t realise it was a huge compound as is clear from these drawings.

Square footage, all structures: More than 66,000 (equal to 1.5 acres)
Rooms: Seven bedrooms, 24 bathrooms (includes 10 full baths), six kitchens, six fireplaces

_sarchi - we must have linked through the ether today. I came across your comment on a previous post (Geodesic dome) earlier and had been looking through your flickr shots - a really interesting selection.
