Better auction Sniping
24th September 2002 by Simon
I was just adding a snipe, you know what it’s like - toggling windows between various eBay and AS browser sessions, your copying and pasting eBay auction ID’s, etc
Let’s face it, it’s not too onerous but I just thought how about - You’ve causally browsing through endless eBay pages of ‘not quite your thing’ and you see your dream item, your head starts spinning, you must act quickly – simply highlight the eBay auction ID, right mouse click, up pops a ‘Snipe!’ menu. Click to select, a new (small) browser window appears showing you the details and photo of the eBay item and a semi-completed form for you to add info to the snipe. Ah, the relief.
It’s my homage to ‘Blog this!’ that blogger.com put out quite a while ago.
I don’t have the tenacity to start writing it - just thought I’d throw the idea out there.
Does this excite anyone else, or do I just need to get out more.
