Best of Photojournalism 2004

BoingBoing pointed me to a very interesting photojournalism awards site, the Best of Photojournalism 2004 (some of the photo are pretty distressing, so be warned).
Looking at this amazing atmospheric photo (right) by Mark Zaleski brings a flood of questions into my mind as to how this situation occurred. Clearly he’s not an one shot wonder.
The site is inspirational with many styles to look at, of particular note for me was the Conceptual Illustration. It will open your mind.
