Auction search engine

SEOBook.com has found a search engine that works on auction sites such as eBay. The data appears to be building up slowly - the most recent data for an iPod search was dated sept.03. This appears to be down to them needing to have the permission of the person holding the auction - eBay expressly forbids the automated collection of all of their auctions.

During a time of particularly deep eBay obsession, I was pondering such an idea myself, with the desired outcome being the ability to graph the market price of an item, to help understand if the current price swing was up or down.

BTW, if you don’t spend your life thinking about search engines, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation
