Arghh! - Munch’s stolen Scream on eBay?
22nd August 2004 by Simon
I’ve just heard on BBC Radio that a version of Edvard Munch’s world famous painting, “The Scream”, has been stolen by an armed robbers from the Munch Gallery in Norway at about 10:00 today. It’s news to me, but I now understand that Munch painted a number of versions of The Scream and this isn’t the first time that a version of The Scream has been stolen.
Searching at 13:00 for more details on Google, I was amazed to see both the speed and how digitally-savvy the thieves are. Glancing to the sponsored links I saw they’d put it on eBay already!
