Of course. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before. The next spam trend arrived in my mailbox today - Bird Flu Protection.
Spammers feed on insecurity so it makes total sense that they’re going to try to flog a protection against Bird Flu. Amazingly it was a UK company.

VentnorBlog runs phpBB forum software on the Ventnor forum, and very good it is too.
One strange thing is that google doesn’t index the discussion. With a bit of digging it’s found that it’s the SID (Session ID) that Google doesn’t like - seeing the ever changing URL (because of the SID) freaks Google out.

It’s surprising to see a US newspaper, in particular the LA Times, publishing a story asserting that the Palestinians are being robbed by Israel, as the value-added tax (I never did understand where the added value was in a tax) that the Israelis are collecting, supposedly on behalf of the Palestinian authorities, is being withheld.

The Labour MPs have embarrassed themselves by passing the rehashed ID card bill through the Commons.
What swayed them? That the government of the day has to pass/push though another law to make the carrying of ID cards compulsory.
