Scary moves in Italy.
A law has been passed in Italy that changes rules of ownership of media. It has many potential benefits for Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. He currently controls 3 of the 7 commercial television stations as well as having power over the rest of the state owned media.

I really should have mentioned this before. Renzo Piano design for a new tower to be built above London Bridge station, labelled the ’shard of glass’ by some, has been approved by John Prescott MP.
The radical design, which hasn’t been finalised, will make it the tallest tower in Europe. All very exciting.
